Western Railway has invited bids for the construction of sarkhej-dholera semi high-speed double railway line, including spur lines to lothal nmhc and dholera airport terminal; comprising civil works, which includes formation & viaduct, bridges, station buildings, & associated works; track system (ballasted & blt), overhead traction system including electrical general services; signalling & telecommunication system, operating control centre, integration of all systems complete in all respect including testing & commissioning and all appurtenant works under jurisdiction of western railway. The estimated project cost is ₹18,901.68 Cr, with an EMD of ₹378.03 Cr. Interested bidders can submit applications until 12 December 2026, with the technical opening scheduled for 12 December 2026.
