South Coast Railway has invited bids for the construction of r.o.b in lieu of lc.no.485 -balance left over works on railway portion - superstructure of span no.1 as 1x 25.00 m c/c psc 'i' girder with deck slab, span 2 composite girder with steel 'i' girders with deck slab completed + span 3 to 5 as 3 x 31.00 m c/c psc 'i' girder with deck slab, construction of one left over pier with bed block and construction of approaches (r&b portion) - 6 x 30.0m psc girders on chowdavaram side, 6 x 30.0 m psc girders on visakhapatnam side with re wall on both sides and other miscellaneous works in lieu of lc no.485 (laxmi devi peta gate) at km.745/16-18 between bayyavaram and anakapalli stations at anakapalli yard. The estimated project cost is ₹52.77 Cr, with an EMD of ₹1.06 Cr. Interested bidders can submit applications until 12 October 2026, with the technical opening scheduled for 12 October 2026.
