Southern Railway has invited bids for the shoranur-mangaluru section: (1) proposed re-construction of br. no. 829 (proposed dn line) at km 603/700-800 as 3x12.2m clear span psc slab between pallippuram and kuttippuram stations (2) proposed re-construction of br. no. 1177 (proposed up line) at km 822/300-500 as 6x12.2m clear span psc slab between kanhangad & kotikulam stations (3) proposed re-construction of br. no. 1188 (proposed dn line) at km 827/500-700 as 4x12.2m clear span psc i girder & slab between kanhangad & kotikulam stations including earthwork & blanketing for formation on approaches, collection of ballast, linking of track and other miscellaneous works in palakkad division of southern railway. The estimated project cost is ₹48.49 Cr, with an EMD of ₹0.97 Cr. Interested bidders can submit applications until 7 October 2026, with the technical opening scheduled for 7 October 2026.
