Water Resources Department has invited bids for the design, manufacture, testing at works, supply, delivery, erection, oil filling, testing and commissioning of one (1) no. 14,000 kva (14 mva), 132 kv / 6.9 kv, 3-phase, 50 hz, ynyno, onan cooled, outdoor type, copper wound transformer, oil-immersed power transformer, fitted with a 3-phase on-load tap changer of 17 positions (10% in 16 steps of 1.25%) on the hv winding, complete with motor drive mechanism, remote tap- change control cubicle, all standard and special fittings, first filling of insulating oil, and all accessories - conforming to is 2026 (latest amendment) / iec 60076. the scope shall further include the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of one (1) complete set of nitrogen injection fire prevention and extinguishing system (nifps) suitable for the above transformer, comprising the fire extinguishing cubicle with nitrogen cylinders and oil discharge chamber, the indoor control box, heat/fire detectors, conservator isolation valve, all interconnecting piping, valves, cabling and interlocking with the transformer protection scheme..
