Geological Survey Of India has invited bids for the annual maintenance contract renewal of sem-edx-evo-40 system from m/s carl zeiss india pvt. ltd, bangalore. work -for renewal of amc of sem-eds-evo-40 scope: 1. preventive maintenance: scheduled preventive maintenance of the sem, eds system, vacuum system, detectors, electronics, operating software, and associated accessories as per the manufacturer's recommended maintenance schedule. 2. performance inspection: complete inspection and functional testing of the semeds system to ensure proper operation and performance. 3. calibration & optimization: calibration, alignment, optimization, and performance verification of sem imaging and eds analysis functions. 4. vacuum system: inspection and maintenance of vacuum pumps, valves, gauges, seals, and related vacuum components to maintain required vacuum levels. 5. eds system: inspection, testing, calibration, and optimization of the eds detector and associated analytical software/hardware. 6. electrical & electronic components: checking of power supplies, cables, connectors, control electronics, and other system electronics. 7. software support: technical support for the operating and analytical software, including troubleshooting and necessary software updates, wherever applicable. 8. breakdown maintenance: attending to equipment breakdowns and technical 9. faults during the amc period, with necessary troubleshooting and corrective maintenance. service visits: on-site service visits by qualified/authorized service engineers as and when required. 10. spare parts: replacement of defective/failed parts, if covered under the amc terms. consumables and major capital items, if excluded, shall be supplied separately with prior approval. 11. technical support: telephone/email/remote technical support for operational and analytical issues. 12. documentation: submission of service reports after each preventive/breakdown maintenance visit, including details of work performed, observations, parts replaced, and equipment status. 13. final performance verification: after maintenance, the system shall be tested to confirm satisfactory sem imaging and eds analytical performance. 14. uptime: the service provider shall make reasonable efforts to minimize equipment downtime and restore the system to operational condition at the earliest possible time. 15. amc period: the contract shall remain valid for the specified amc period from the date of commencement/order, subject to the terms and conditions of the purchase order/amc agreement.
