Dr Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth has invited bids for the clear the field bunds by cutting grass using a grass cutter along the main roads and bunds across all three organic farming trials and the natural farming trial. perform periodic weeding, apply organic fertilizer doses, and manage water for the various rice varieties cultivated across the three trials (including konkan sanjay, karjat-9, and karjat-3); install trial signage; and apply chemical and organic fertilizer doses and record observations for the karjat-9 crop based on specific treatment protocols. carry out weeding, apply chemical and organic fertilizers, manage water, and implement organic crop protection measures for the konkan sanjay and dhaincha intercropping plots according to treatment protocols. perform weeding, rogueing (removing off-type plants), record observations, and apply organic fertilizer doses for the various rice varieties in the university's red rice natural farming and organic farming trials, as well as the natural farming (karjat-3) trial. install bird perches in the fields; harvest the mature rice; bundle and transport the sheaves; thresh the crop; and clean, dry, and store the harvested rice. remove off-type plants from the konkan sanjay and karjat-9 rice varieties across the three organic farming trials; harvest, bundle, and transport the crop according to treatment protocols. weigh the harvested bundles according to treatment; thresh the crop; weigh the cleaned rice; and dry, bag, and store the rice. assist in recording data according to the specific treatment protocols for all three trials. tasks include: inspecting and removing off-type plants (rogueing) from various paddy varieties in the university's red rice natural farming and organic farming trials, as well as the 'karjat-3' natural farming trial; harvesting the paddy, bundling the sheaves, and transporting them to the threshing floor; threshing according to specific treatment protocols; and cleaning and drying the paddy. additionally, clearing grass and trimming shrubs/bushes from the trial plot bunds, and performing other incidental tasks as they arise. further tasks include: threshing, cleaning, and drying paddy from all three organic farming trials; transporting sacks of paddy from the trials; recording weights according to treatment categories and depositing the produce in storage; cutting grass using a grass cutter on the bunds of the red rice natural farming, organic farming, and 'karjat-3' trials; collecting soil samples; making pre-preparations for the 2026-27 rabi season (including sowing and bund maintenance); and performing other incidental tasks as they arise..
