East Central Railway has invited bids for the engineering procurement and construction (epc) for "construction of doubling work including earthwork, blanketing, minor bridges, major bridges, lhs/rubs, track works, platform work, station building, fobs, other buildings, associated s&t and electrical utility shifting works and associated miscellaneous works for 25t indian railway standard loading from karnauti station(including-ch. 2.844 km) to bihar sharif station(excluding-ch 29.350 km), from ch. 1.900 km to 28.192 km (total- 26.292 km) in connection with the doubling of the bakhtiyarpur-rajgir - tilaiya section". The estimated project cost is ₹575.14 Cr, with an EMD of ₹11.5 Cr. Interested bidders can submit applications until 30 December 2026, with the technical opening scheduled for 30 December 2026.
