Department of Mines And Geology has invited bids for the extension of the period for installation of mine tags on vehicles for effective prevention of illegal transportation of minerals in the state. the mine tag will be installed by the selected firm m-tech innovation limited at a rate of 109.71 (one hundred nine rupees seventy-one paise only + gst extra) per tag. all vehicle owners engaged in registered mineral transportation in the department in all 13 districts of the state are directed to ensure the installation of mine tags on their vehicles by september 23, 2026. after this date, e-rawanna will not be issued for vehicles without a mine tag, nor will it be issued by any mining leaseholder, stone crusher/screening plant, etc., and retail mineral storage license holders. in case of non-compliance, the e-rawanna portal for the concerned will also be closed.
