East Coast Railway has invited bids for the jeypore-malkangiri new bg railway line: design & construction of new bg railway line from km 41.50 to km 69.60 (including nunkhari station) involving earthwork in formation, embankment/cutting, blanketing, side drains, catch water drains, minor bridges, major bridge, road under bridge (rubs), viaducts, tunnels, protection works, blt works, p.way track works with contractor's own materials (except new/sh rails), construction of platforms, station buildings, service buildings, sp/ssp buildings and residential buildings, water supply, indoor and outdoor electrification, provision of 1x25 kv conventional type ohe, tunnel ohe with rocs, tunnel lighting, tss, sp, general power supply arrangements modifications/conversion to underground for overhead electrical ht/lt power line crossings etc on epc basis in waltair division of east coast railway. The estimated project cost is ₹1,594.98 Cr, with an EMD of ₹31.9 Cr. Interested bidders can submit applications until 5 October 2026, with the technical opening scheduled for 5 October 2026.
