Department Of Agriculture has invited bids for the open auction and disposal of old, senile and pest/disease-susceptible fruit trees at achd zainapora along with uprooting/felling, cutting, removal and disposal of resultant wood as firewood/timber. details of the lot: 1. orchard block akbar: approx. no. of existing plants/trees 169 2. orchard block lal ambri: approx. no. of existing plants/trees 279 3. orchard block traditional varieties (maharaji, kitchami jonathan etc.): approx. no. of existing plants/trees 541 4. orchard block shalimar-1 & shalimar-ii: approx. no. of existing plants/trees 494 5. orchard block pink lady: approx. no. of existing plants/trees 110 total: approx. no. of existing plants/trees 1593 scope of work: 1. felling/cutting and uprooting of all fruit trees specifically marked and handed over by the department. 2. complete removal of the felled trees, branches, trunks, roots and other resultant material from the orchard premises. 3. uprooting/removal of stumps and roots wherever directed by the department. 4. loading, transportation and unloading of all resultant wood/material. 5. the resultant wood shall be treated as firewood/timber/material for disposal and shall be removed by the successful bidder after completion of the prescribed formalities. 6. complete clearing of the site after removal of the trees. 7. the bidder shall arrange all labour tools, machinery, equipment vehicles, safety equipment and transportation required for execution of the work. 8. the bidder shall ensure that no healthy or unmarked fruit tree/plant is damaged or removed. 9. any damage caused to departmental property, irrigation infrastructure, fencing buildings, pipelines or other assets during the operations shall be made good by the bidder at his own cost..
