Department Of Irrigation has invited bids for the reconstruction of the vrb-cum-fall at km 0.200 of jani escape; lining repair from km 0.000 to 0.200; restoration of the inner section from km 0.200 to 1.000 and km 2.000 to 8.100; and repair of the aqueduct at km 8.100, construction of toe walls on both sides and boulder pitching on the side slopes of the inner section of jani escape from km 1.000 to km 2.000, construction of a fall at km 9.200 of jani escape, construction of a fall at km 10.800 of jani escape, protective works for the mola kas regulator at km 135.550 and the jani kas regulator at km 140.490 of the upper ganga canal, restoration and protective works for the navigation channel taking off from km 134.530 of the upper ganga canal between km 0.000 and km 2.430. The estimated project cost is ₹8.61 Cr, with an EMD of ₹0.17 Cr. Interested bidders can submit applications until 19 September 2026, with the technical opening scheduled for 19 September 2026.
